Welcome to CMS Training
In 2009, Fort Hays State University saw the need for an update to the current website. The University website needed to be easy for non-technical users to make changes and updates, and it needed to be dynamically organized with a common design and consistent feel. In order to facilitate these needs, the University selected to develop the website using a modern Content Management System (CMS). A content management system is an application that is built to simplify the creating and managing of websites. Using a CMS allows users with little to no knowledge of programming or markup languages to create, edit, and manage web content with ease.
These online training resources have been compiled to help users get the most out of the FHSU Ektron Content Managment System (CMS).
