Do you want to improve your overall internal training and development programs by incorporating best practices in facilitation and presentation skills, adult learning strategies, and content development? Are you interested in learning more about new and emerging technology that you can incorporate into your face-to-face and online offerings? If so, join us for a two-part series on How to Build an Effective Corporate Training & Development Program. Students from Fort Hays State University’s MGT 614: Training and Development course will facilitate the session as they model best practices in training and development and provide you with tools and resources to develop and enhance your corporate training and development offerings in your organizations.
This workshop is free but requires RSVP. A continental breakfast is provided for participants.
Dr. LeAnn Brown
Dr. LeAnn Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an Associate Professor of Management & Human Resources at Fort Hays State University, a leadership development coach and consultant, and co-founder of The Well-Center for Hope, a non-profit organization committed to improving the mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual wellbeing of citizens in Western Kansas. LeAnn has served in various leadership, human resources, and organizational development roles in higher education and industry and is a certified leadership coach, mindset coach, and human resources professional through SHRM and HRCI. LeAnn received her PhD in Global Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Management from Indiana Tech and has published articles on topics related to organizational development and change, human resources, and global leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, watching Kansas City Chiefs football, and vacationing at the beach.
