Master of Professional Studies (MPS) Concentrations

The following concentrations have been approved as of the date above. Prospective students should become aware of any additional concentration requirements for admission. Questions about curriculum and program advising should be directed the to designated concentration advisor in the list below.
All applicants must submit a personal statement, 2 letters of recommendation, and official transcripts indicating the award of a 4-year undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited US institution. International credentials will be considered by the Graduate School on a case-by-case basis.
Chemistry - minimum 2.75 GPA on last 60 undergraduate credit hours. Deadlines are June 15 (Fall), October 15 (Spring), and March 15 (Summer). - Dr. Arvin Cruz
Computer Networking - minimum 3.0 GPA on the last 60 undergraduate hour. (Applications reviewed first of each month) Deadlines are Fall Start (March 31), Spring Start (October 31), and Summer Start (January 31) -Kevin Shaffer
Criminal Justice - minimum 3.0 GPA on last 60 undergraduate credit hours. - Dr. Tamara Lynn

Gerontology - A minimum grade point average of 3.0 for last 60 credit hours on the bachelor's degree; or a 2.50-2.99 grade point average for last 60 credit hours on the bachelor's degree and an acceptable score of 148 on both the Verbal and Quantitative components of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or a minimum score of 40 on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT). - Glen McNeil

Medical Imaging (Administration or Education) - A minimum 3.0 GPA for the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate credit. Applicants must submit a copy of their Medical Imaging Certification in one of the following: ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB. – Christa Beiker
Music Composition - minimum 2.75 GPA on last 60 undergraduate credit hours, electronic portfolio with three original scores with recordings for different media (live recordings preferred, but high-quality MIDI versions are acceptable). - Dr. Tim Rolls

Social Entrepreneurship- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 cumulative on the bachelor's degree. Personal statement no more than 1 page addressing 1) Why are you interested in receiving an MPS in Social Entrepreneurship, 2) What category of people in need are you most interested in assisting and why?
