Online Student Senate
The Online Student Senate is an affiliate of the Student Government Association of Fort Hays State University. This organization meets once a month via web conference. Your Online Student Senators are focused on creating a better online environment to enhance your educational experience. We do this by:
- Providing effective means of representing students taking courses through FHSU Online.
- Providing a constructive line of communication between students, FHSU Online, faculty, and administration.
- Enhancing the educational, social, and cultural experience of all online students.
- Identifying, studying, and seeking solutions to issues that jointly affect the online FHSU community.
Let Your Voice Be Heard
The Online Student Senate consists of 25 seats. These seats are reserved for dedicated and ambitious online students who are eager to listen and ready to take action. You could become an Online Student Senator and support your fellow online student body. If you are interested, please contact us.
Becoming a senator is not the only way to be heard. If you have suggestions or concerns about your courses or maybe your online experience as a whole, please contact us. Anyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings. Feel free to take a look at the posted schedule below and let us know if you would like to attend.
