MDI Admission Criteria
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PROGRAM
Students must be accepted into a Radiologic Technology Program, or, have completed a Radiologic Technology Program to be considered eligible for the Medical Diagnostic Imaging Program. To be considered academically qualified, all prerequisite course requirements must be completed with a minimum grade point average of 2.75. Students may simultaneously complete the Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology if admitted to both programs.
FHSU offers credit for up to 30 credit hours for previous radiologic technology training at non-degree sponsoring institutions to be used to partially fulfill the requirements for a bachelor's degree. Registered radiographers can now complete their bachelor's degree in an area that will pertain to their current work and career interests.
Students are required to complete the prerequisite course requirements with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 before they will be eligible for the elective courses.

Students will be required to make application and be accepted into the MDI Program. If permission is granted by the instructor, students may register in a maximum of three (3) on-campus major courses prior to admission into the program.
