Homecoming Royalty

Congratulations to Homecoming 2018 King and Queen!  

The Homecoming King and Queen were crowned at halftime of the Tiger football game on Saturday. There were 29 Homecoming Royalty nominees representing 20 different student organizations and groups this year. The Homecoming King & Queen are selected by a combination of scores on their application, an interview process which is conducted the week prior to Homecoming and of course, the popular vote of the student body which takes place during Homecoming Week.

The newly crowned Queen and King are Cassidy Locke and Roy Koech.  

King and Queen

Cassidy Locke, a junior majoring in Secondary English Education. Cassidy was nominated by Delta Zeta. Her involvements have included Sigma Tau Delta, VIP Ambassadors, Encounter and the Spanish Club. She is daughter of Ken and Angie Locke, of Wichita, Kansas.

Roy Koech, a senior majoring in Criminal Justice. Roy was nominated by the Criminal Justice Club. His involvements have included volunteering with Tigers In Service, Student Government Association, African Ambassadors and United Methodist Student Organization. He is son of Rev. Ezekiel and Dr. Alice Koech, of Russell, Kansas.

The Homecoming King & Queen are selected by a combination of scores on the application, an interview and popular vote of the student body during homecoming week.
