At Fort Hays State, we're thrilled to be a part of the rapidly growing world of collegiate esports. Our commitment to fostering competitive game play as a meaningful and complementary part of the college experience is unwavering. We're proud to offer a positive and supportive atmosphere, where our members are formed of both highly competitive players and a diverse group of engaged students.
Our Esports Club is the perfect platform for students who are passionate about gaming and want to compete at the highest level. We provide the opportunity to form a variety of collegiate teams for competition in collegiate leagues, as well as organizing a range of gaming events, and non-collegiate tournaments. Beyond that, we also conduct service and social events that bring our community of gamers together.
Whether you're a prospective or current student, we encourage you to get involved with our esports program. Our community of gamers is ready to welcome you into the fold and help you grow as a player, as well as connect you with other students who share your passion. At Fort Hays State, we're committed to creating a dynamic and engaging campus experience, and our esports program is just one way we're achieving that goal.

TigerLAN 50
This two day event will have our popular tournaments as well as retro game tournaments from TigerLANs past.
Join the fun on Saturday October 26th and Sunday October 27th! TigerLAN 50 invites all alumni and former club members to return for a weekend of tournaments, retro games, door prizes each day. This will be our biggest TigerLAN ever!!
TigerLAN 50 Tournament Prizes are sponsored by McDonald's.

Varsity League of Legends team finishes season at round of 16.
FHSU’s Varsity League of Legends team competed in the Open division of the Riot Scholastic National League of Legends spring season. Initially ranked last in their group, the Tigers took first place in group play and advanced to the playoffs. During the regular season, the Tigers finished with an impressive 6-0-1 record, tying for first place in group play. They secured the 1st place position based on performance-based tiebreaker rules. Their sole regular season loss occurred against DePaul University, where the Tigers managed to win one game in the best-of-three match. In the playoffs, the Tigers reached the round of 16 but were defeated by UW Madison in a best-of-five match, winning one game and losing 1-3. Congratulations to the Tiger League of Legends Team for their remarkable climb in the ranks and an outstanding season!

The Esports Club invites any interested gamers to join our meetings, whether they want to play collegiate competitions or just to make friends for casual gaming. Visit us for club meetings during the regular semester on Wednesday's in Tomanek Hall 123 at 4:30 pm.

Varsity Esports
Our esports teams compete in a variety of game titles and we recruit year-round. Competitive esports include:

Esports Center
The Esports Center houses 17 high performance gaming PCs sporting i7 processors, RTX3060 graphics, 16G ram, fast response monitors and high performance gaming peripherals. All PCs have gig ethernet connections and support streaming direct to the Internet or via live desktop feeds to Tiger Media Network for broadcast. Esports Club and Varsity Esports hold events, matches and training in the facility.
