Biography
Dr. Ma commenced his tenure with FHSU in 2023, where he holds a position as a Foreign Faculty member at SNU in the Leadership Study Department. His academic pursuits predominantly lie in global leadership, cultural intelligence, trust dynamics, and organizational management.
Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Ma initiated his business consulting enterprise, catering to multinational corporations. This endeavor began before he enlisted in the United States Army in 2007. After dedicated service, Dr. Ma medically retired from the Army in 2014, but his commitment to professional growth remained unwavering. Returning to his consulting roots, he continued to work closely with eminent leaders worldwide. Drawing from his profound expertise, he extended invaluable insights and devised strategies to amplify their organizational performance. A fundamental aspect of his consultancy revolves around cultivating and bolstering cultural intelligence, which he staunchly believes is quintessential in our globalized business era.
Dr. Ma is an avid traveler outside his academic and professional commitments. He and his wife have traversed more than 55 countries since 2014, mainly through cruise voyages. These travels serve as a testament to his affinity for global exploration and enrich his profound understanding of cultural intelligence and leadership.
