Dr. Martinez has taught English as a foreign language in Bogotá and Spanish and English as a second language in the United States. At FHSU, she has taught Beginning and Intermediate Spanish courses and Medical Spanish.
Her research interests focus on Spanish regional varieties and foreign language learning and teaching. She has presented her research at several national and international conferences.
