Chair Placements
Chair placements are held on the first day of camp to determine what large and small ensemble the campers will be placed in.
Woodwinds and Brass
- Major scale of your choice demonstrating range (except percussionists)
- Prepared piece of your choice, 2 minutes (solo, etude, ensemble piece)
- Sight Reading
Percussion
- Major scale of your choice demonstrating range (except percussionists)
- Prepared piece of your choice, 2 minutes (solo, etude, ensemble piece)
- Sight Reading
Jazz
- Materials will be provided
- Jazz chair placements are in addition to your instrumental chair placement
Strings
- 1 solo or orchestral excerpt of your choice
- 1 major scale of your choice
- Sightreading
