Students learn life-long skills at leadership conference
HAYS, Kan. -- Ethical leadership, time management, team building, decision making and communication skills were just a few of the topics discussed at this year's Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values' National Central Conference.
Fort Hays State University's Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Coucil chose six students to represent the institution at the conference in St. Louis, Mo.: Sabrina Brown, Canton freshman; Nick Budd, Overland Park freshman; Diana Bunker, Kanorado sophomore; Emily Elasser, McPherson sophomore; Adam Rusk, Thornton, Colo., freshman; and Josh Sheldon, Leavenworth freshman.
During the conference, students were given the opportunity to participate in learning and interactive activities that complement the classroom experience while networking and exchanging resources with students and professionals from colleges and universities across the country.
