HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State University's Management Development Center (MDC) has announced two workshops in the Manager and Leader Development Series for the spring 2012 semester.

"Manager as Politician" is scheduled for 1 to 4:30p.m. Wednesday, March 14. "Leadership Transformation: Understanding your Leadership Style" is scheduled for 1 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5.

"Our primary focus is to help develop people who improve organizations," said Dr. Kyle Stone, director of the MDC and assistant professor of management and marketing. "These workshops are designed to provide practical knowledge and experiences that can be used immediately within the workplace."

"All workshops are based on sound business theory and taught by experienced practitioners who understand the challenges and opportunities of national and local businesses throughout western Kansas,"said Stone.
