Walizer to present 'Teacher Expectations in Student achievement'

Hays, Kan. -- Dr. Beth Walizer, associate professor of teacher education, will present "Teacher Expectations in Student Achievement," from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History.

The workshop, hosted by the Kansas Center for Innovative Education, will provide tools to help children succeed in school through a heightened awareness of how teachers' perceptions affect classroom expectations.

The $90 registration fee, which includes lunch and refreshments, is due July 3.
