Early Childhood Unified program ranked No. 2 nationally

SuperScholar.org, an online academic ranking organization, recently named Fort Hays State University's early childhood education unified program No. 2 in its list "50 Best Online Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education Programs."
The organization's mission is to help students acquire high-quality, affordable education. When determining which colleges to include in their list of best early education programs, the website assessed accredited colleges based on awards and recognition, market reputation, flexibility, accessibility, and affordability.

"Fort Hays University is becoming a leader in the online higher education world," the website said. "The school is regularly seen in lists of best online academic programs."
The FHSU Virtual College offers 26 undergraduate degrees and 13 graduate degrees.
The early childhood unified program prepares students to serve as teachers, administrators and coordinators for children from birth to age eight. The "unified" portion of the degree includes special education training, which allows students to seek licensure for regular or special education for children third grade and under.
