Music on the High Plains begins Sunday

The Fort Hays State University campus will come alive with youthful enthusiasm early Sunday morning.
Registration for the 68th annual High Plains Music Camp begins at 9:30 a.m. for nearly 275 students in grades 6 through 12 -- and graduated seniors -- begin to converge on the campus for the week-long event. Campers come from all across the state of Kansas and several other states as well.
Numerous concerts will be held throughout the week, involving music camp faculty, staff and campers.
Campers will hit the ground running with auditions at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, competing for spots in one of the large ensembles.
