Fort Hays State has topped two scales of college education satisfaction, based on the database of PayScale Inc., the world's largest database of salary profiles and other information.

Of 32 undergraduate colleges in Kansas, Fort Hays State was tops in the percentage of alumni who would recommend their educational experience to others, at 89 percent, and in the percentage of alumni who think their work helps make the world a better place, at 63 percent.

PayScale, a subscription software company, says it has the world's largest salary database in the world, with more than 54 million salary profiles across 15,000 job titles in 350 industries. Their website is www.payscale.com.
