HAYS, Kan. -- The Fort Hays State University Alumni Association is sponsoring a send-off for the FHSU football team Thursday, Dec. 3, when the Tigers leave town for the Mineral Water Bowl.

The team will board buses at 11 a.m. for the trip to Excelsior Springs, Mo. FHSU staff, students and faculty, along with the general public, are invited to wish the team well as it heads into its first post-season action since 1995.

Fans are asked to meet at 10:45 a.m. just outside the Schmidt-Bickle Training Facility south of Lewis Field Stadium.
