FHSU’s next Science Café set for Feb. 23

HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University’s upcoming Science Café is set for Monday, Feb. 23.
This month’s presentation, “AI for Advancing Research Across Diverse Disciplines,” is sponsored by FHSU’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) and will begin at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Dr. Anas Hourani, FHSU Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Werth College of Science, Technology and Mathematics, will provide an overview of how artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques are transforming research across diverse disciplines by enabling knowledge extraction from large-scale data.
Please note, while drinks will be available for purchase, NO FOOD WILL BE SERVED during Science Café.
