Hays, Kan. – Harper Lubbers, a business management major from Wichita, works to cover her meal plan and housing, but scholarships cover her tuition. “I’m grateful for the scholarships I’ve received at Fort Hays State University and the opportunities they’ve made possible,” she said. “They allow me to concentrate on my classes without the stress of finances, and it means so much to know that others recognize and value my hard work and potential.
Between now and April 7, you can make a difference. Join alumni and Tiger fans for FHSU’s Sixth Annual Giving Day and give the gift of scholarships.
FHSU students are known for their ambition, resilience, and determination. What many of them often lack is not drive or talent, but the financial peace to focus on school. Together, let’s support students like Harper who dream of completing their degree without the weight of overwhelming student loans or the need to work so many hours that studying takes a back seat.
This Giving Day, pay it forward to deserving students at Fort Hays State University. Your gift to scholarships, no matter the size, can create opportunities and change lives.
Last year, more than 1,000 members of the Tiger family came together on Giving Day and raised an impressive $180,000. Imagine how many students we can help this year! There’s no need to wait until April 7. Join others in making your gift today and give students like Harper the chance to stay in school, earn their degree, and build the future they are working so diligently for.
