HAYS, Kan. – This fall, FHSU’s Career Development Office is partnering with various departments to host several career fairs. These events provide opportunities for students to meet with potential employers all in one location.

“These events allow freshmen through seniors to learn about internship and job opportunities and make valuable connections,” said Lisa Karlin, assistant director of FHSU’s Career Development Office.

Mark your calendar for the following career fairs:

Ag Career Fair: Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2-4 p.m., Fort Hays Ballroom, Memorial Union. Accepting employer registrations through Sept. 3.

Applied Technology Career Day: Thursday, Sept. 10, 9:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Center for Applied Technology. Accepting employer registrations through Sept. 4.

Business Career Fair: Thursday, Sept. 24, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Fort Hays Ballroom, Memorial Union. Accepting employer registrations through Sept. 18.

SLP, Education, and Social Work Career Fair: Friday, Nov. 13, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Fort Hays Ballroom, Memorial Union. Accepting employer registrations through Nov. 6.

Businesses and organizations must register in Handshake to reserve a table. Employers without a Handshake account can contact Career Development at 785-628-4260 for assistance with registration.
