HAYS, Kan. – FHSU’s W.R. and Yvonne Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship awarded 309 student scholarships, exceeding $388,000, to business and entrepreneurship students for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The awards, announced at the W.R. and Yvonne Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship ceremony on Sept. 17 in the FHSU Memorial Union Ballroom, were presented to on-campus and online students.

Robbins Ambassadors Caden Becker and Aubrey Gill, each receiving a $5,000 Robbins Ambassador Scholarship, spoke about their support as undergraduate students at FHSU and the impact that support has had on their educational experience.

“The Robbins College has given me so many opportunities to grow both inside and outside the classroom,” said Gill, a senior majoring in marketing. “The support and encouragement of the faculty and staff of the Robbins College have played a huge role. I’m also grateful for the generosity of the donors and alumni who make scholarships like these possible.”

Becker, a junior majoring in finance from Hays, said that the Tiger Nation has always been “close to his heart.”

“I chose Fort Hays State not just because of its welcoming environment and engaging community, but also because of the opportunities that the Robbins College had to offer my career in financial planning,” he said. “Donors, through your generosity, countless students have been able to embrace being students at Fort Hays rather than being tied down to financial burdens.”
