Angie Howard, Ed.S.
Assistant Professor
Angie Howard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Fort Hays State University and a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Kansas. She received her B.S., M.S., and Ed.S. degrees from Fort Hays State University. Her scholarly interests include ethics and law in education, school-based mental health and social emotional development, trauma impact across the lifespan, resiliency and protective factors, and early intervention impacts. Angie has six years of experience as a school psychology practitioner and continues to be a passionate advocate for students, families, and educational communities, engaging in leadership with the Kansas Association of School Psychologists and maintaining active participation in the National Association of School Psychologists. Above all, she enjoys traveling and exploring outdoors with her husband and two daughters.
