Fall Semester 2026 Academic Calendar
Registration for the Fall Semester 2026 begins on March 9, 2026. All other registration dates can be found on the Registration Calendar
August 5 – Payment due for Fall 2026 tuition and fees.
August 6 – Registered students with unpaid tuition balances or who have not made payment arrangements will be dropped from fall classes.
August 11 – Release of available financial assistance begins.
August 17 - Classes begin
August 30 - Final day for 100% refund for full semester or arranged courses.

Final day to add or register in a full semester course.

Fees for courses withdrawn do not apply to courses added after this date.
September 7 - Labor Day Holiday - University closed
Priority deadline for undergraduates to complete and submit the Application for Degree Completion in Workday.
September 8 - Classes resume.
September 14 - Final day for 50% refund for full semester or arranged courses.

20th day of classes
Final day to withdraw a course without transcript record.
September 15 - Transcript record begins
COURSES ARE PERMITTED TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM SEPTEMBER 15 THROUGH OCTOBER 25 (SEE WITHDRAWAL POLICY STATEMENT). A grade of "W" will be recorded.
October 2 - Oktoberfest
October 3 - Oktoberfest and Homecoming
October 5 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2027, Active Graduates, Seniors, Continuing Honors College, and AMS/KAMS
October 7 - Final day for graduate students to sign up for comprehensive examinations
October 9 - Interim
Final day for Masters, Doctorate and Education Specialists to complete and submit Application for Degree Completion in Workday
Final day for undergraduates to complete and submit the Application for Degree Completion in Workday.
October 12 - Interim grade entry deadline, NOON
Last 8-week courses begin
Final day for undergraduates to complete and submit Application for Degree Completion in Workday
October 19 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2027, Active Juniors
October 25 - Final day to withdraw from a course with transcript record of "W." NO WITHDRAWALS ALLOWED AFTER THIS DATE.
November 2 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2027, Active Sophomores
November 16 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2027, Active Freshmen and Undergraduate Non-Degree
November 23 - 27 - Fall Break (University closed Nov. 26-27)
November 30 - Classes resume
December 5, 7-11 - Final examinations
December 11 - Semester ends

December 14 - Final grade entry deadline, NOON
Final day for departments to submit comprehensive exams results to the Graduate School.
December 25 - January 3 - Winter Break - University Closed
January 15 - Fall semester undergraduate/graduate degree candidates must have all requirements for a degree completed and on record in the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm
