Fall Semester 2027 Academic Calendar
Registration for the Fall Semester 2027 begins on March 8, 2027. All other registration dates can be found on the Registration Calendar
TBA – Payment due for Fall 2026 tuition and fees.
TBA – Registered students with unpaid tuition balances or who have not made payment arrangements will be dropped from fall classes.
TBA – Release of available financial assistance begins.
August 23 - Classes begin
September 5 - Final day for 100% refund for full semester or arranged courses.

Final day to add or register in a full semester course.

Fees for courses withdrawn do not apply to courses added after this date.
September 6 - Labor Day Holiday - University closed
September 7 - Classes resume.
September 13 - Priority deadline for undergraduates to complete and submit Application for Degree Completion in Workday
September 20 - Final day for 50% refund for full semester or arranged courses.

20th day of classes
Final day to withdraw a course without transcript record.
September 21 - Transcript record begins
COURSES ARE PERMITTED TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM SEPTEMBER 21 THROUGH OCTOBER 31 (SEE WITHDRAWAL POLICY STATEMENT). A grade of "W" will be recorded.

October 8 - Final day for graduate students to sign up for comprehensive examinations
October 11 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2028, Active Graduates, Seniors, Continuing Honors College, and AMS/KAMS
October 15 - Interim
Final deadline for undergraduates, Masters, Doctorate and Education Specialists to complete and submit Application for Degree Completion in Workday
Final day for undergraduates to complete and submit the Application for Degree Completion in Workday.
October 18 - Interim grade entry deadline, NOON
Last 8-week courses begin
October 25 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2028, Active Juniors
October 31 - Final day to withdraw from a course with transcript record of "W." NO WITHDRAWALS ALLOWED AFTER THIS DATE.
November 8 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2028, Active Sophomores
November 29 - Registration for Intersession and Spring 2028, Active Freshmen and Undergraduate Non-Degree
November 22 - 26 - Fall Break (University closed Nov. 25-26)
November 29 - Classes resume
December 11, 13-17 - Final examinations
December 17 - Semester ends
University Commencement Exercises, Gross Memorial Coliseum
December 20 - Final grade entry deadline, NOON
Final day for departments to submit comprehensive exams results to the Graduate School.
December 24 - January 2 - Winter Break - University Closed
January 14 - Fall semester undergraduate/graduate degree candidates must have all requirements for a degree completed and on record in the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm
