Gender and Sexuality Studies Minor
Our Minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies is an interdisciplinary program which offers students the opportunity to explore diverse perspectives on gender, sexuality, and identity while examining their impact on culture, society, and policy.
Through courses in sociology, criminal justice, history, and more, students will develop critical thinking skills and gain a deeper understanding of issues related to gender and sexuality in both historical and contemporary contexts. This minor is an excellent complement to a variety of majors, including psychology, political science, social work, nursing, and beyond.
This 24-credit hour minor requires 18 Sociology credits and 6 elective credits from outside of Sociology.
