MIS 602G: Information Systems Design and Development
This course offers an in-depth examination of core organizational processes and their translation into digital workflows. It highlights the tools and methodologies that project leaders and systems analysts use to analyze, design, and document effective information systems. The course also emphasizes key competencies, communication, strategic problem-solving, and project management, preparing students to excel in both technical and collaborative roles.
INF 658G: Law of Cyberspace
This course is an in-depth examination of key legal issues central to the internet. This course examines internet operational issues, including copyright and fair use of images, text, video, and audio, domain name registration, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and ISP liability. It examines the regulation of the internet and key criminal and civil rights issues such as email access, pornography, and hacking. It also explores essential e-commerce concepts such as digital signatures, online contracts, and shrink-wrap contracts.
MBA 817: Strategic Management
A study of the integrative functions of senior corporate management in long-range strategic planning and decision making. This is a capstone course that utilizes all the skills, tools, and knowledge developed earlier in the graduate program. This course should be taken during the last term of a student's graduate program.

MBA applications are accepted throughout the year, and admissions are made continuously. It typically takes up to four weeks for an application to be processed. To ensure admission for the upcoming semester, applicants are encouraged to submit their materials at least 30 days before the start of classes. Early submission helps prevent delays in the admission process. The FHSU Graduate School and MBA Committee will only review complete application packages, which must include the following:
- A paid graduate application
- Current resume
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate coursework (in English)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation (must be signed and on letterhead to be official)
- Personal statement from student indicating reasons for seeking a Master of Business Administration degree, including professional and/or career goals and pertinent past work experience
- Other requirements as specified by the Fort Hays State University Graduate School -
