-Employers and candidates looking to connect for employment opportunities
-Transition to teaching candidates looking for teaching positions
-Current high school students interested in the teaching profession wanting to chat with the FHSU Teacher Education department or Admissions.
-Experienced teachers looking to further their education by visiting with FHSU education department faculty.

How do I register?
Students may begin registration now! Registration is available online at https://www.careereco.com/events/forthays.
Register early to have immediate access to employer pages. During registration it is recommended that you upload your resume. If you’d like a Career Services staff member to review your resume before the event, please email it to careers@fhsu.edu or stop by Sheridan Hall 214. Resume and cover letter resources are available online at www.fhsu.edu/career/resume.

Do you have questions for the Licensure Office? Want to visit with the Advanced Education Programs Department for information on graduate degree options? Have questions for the Admissions office? This virtual fair is not only for employment opportunities, but also a chance to connect with representatives of FHSU. Visit the Academic Institutions page to chat with faculty from the Teacher Education Department, Advanced Education Programs, the Licensure Office, Admissions, or Career Services. We are all happy to answer your questions related to furthering your education.

Yes! This is your opportunity to connect with schools for potential student teaching placement. Get a great overview of prospective employers for your future employment search. Many of these districts offer great benefits…do your research now!!
Is there a cost to attend the fair?
The virtual fair is free to students, alumni, transition to teaching candidates, high school students, and candidates from other universities.
How do I prepare for the fair?
Whether the fair is on-campus or virtual, preparation remains the same. Prepare a professional resume, dress professionally, research districts you are interested in working with, and consider interview questions you may be asked. Visit www.fhsu.edu/career/prepare for information on resumes, interviews, dress, and more! Career Services staff is also available to answer your questions or assist with resume reviews. Contact us at 785-628-4260, careers@fhsu.edu, or in Sheridan Hall 214. Don’t forget about our online mock interview software, Big Interview. This is a great resource to practice your interview skills before the fair.
Do I need to dress up for the fair?
Yes! Employers will be meeting with you face-to-face during video chat sessions. This is a professional event, and professional attire is highly recommended. Don’t miss your chance to make a great first impression.
Am I required to upload a resume into CareerEco?
Although you are not required to upload a resume, if you are actively seeking a position it is strongly recommended.
What technology do I need to participate in this fair? Is there anything I will need to download?
All you need to do is login to CareerEco the day of the fair using Google Chrome or Firefox. You will need a webcam or built-in camera to take advantage of all the multi-media options, such as video interviews.
