What is the Career Fair?
It's Career Services' major career event of the year. This is the best opportunity students will have to meet a large number of employers in one location. Friendly employers. Oodles of information about careers.
It's not just for Seniors!
Our goal is to provide an informal professional setting to expose students of all majors and all class levels to careers, internships, and full time employment.
Freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to research majors or careers that might be of interest to them. EMPLOYERS will be available to answer questions about their choice of major and how it fits with their current employment.
Juniors can talk to employers about internship and practicum opportunities.
Seniors and Graduate Students can meet potential employers who are hiring for full-time positions after graduation.
No individual meetings are scheduled, so students may come and go throughout the day at their convenience. Employers will reserve a table and display handouts providing information about their organization.
Students are invited to bring their resumes, dress professionally and be prepared to visit with employers. Students are encouraged to review the list of employers attending and select 5 - 15 companies of interest to them, as time will not allow all organizations to be visited.
