Job Posting Policy
Fort Hays State University Career Services is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers and supports the association’s Principles for Ethical Professional Practice.

Career Services retains the right to decline any job posting. Job listings that are typically declined often include one or more or of the following:
-Require a financial investment by our students to obtain a position
-Require personal information such as bank and social security numbers at the time of application
-No payment unless student recruits others to participate (pyramid)
-Misrepresentation by dishonest information
-Positions that may involve unreasonable risks where known or questionable job duties
-Unclear application process
-Positions not likely of interest to FHSU students or alumni
-Complaints by students, alumni, or staff
-Breach of confidentiality
-Non-specific email addresses as a contact (ex. @outlook or @gmail)
-Postings that conflict with the NACE Principles for Ethical Professional Practice
