Master of Science in Education with an Emphasis in Chemistry
Important: Read Before Applying
1) While this program if flexible and tailored for the off-campus student, it cannot be completed 100% online. On-campus, face-to-face participation is required for a two week laboratory session in two separate summers.
2) This program will NOT prepare you to obtain a license to teach high school chemistry. If you have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and desire to obtain secondary education licensure with an endorsement to teach chemistry, you should apply to FHSU’s Transition to Teaching program.
3) Online delivery of the chemistry coursework is under development. Starting in Fall of 2018, you are welcome to apply to the program and begin taking AEP coursework in the 2018-2019 school year and the chemistry content as it starts becoming available online in the 2019-2020 school year. Refer to the Course Rotation and Availability page for a tentative projected timeline of when each chemistry course is expected to be available online.
