What to Know About FAFSA
FAFSA Simplification is coming for the 2024-2025 Award Year!
After over 40 years the FAFSA is gearing up to launch a more streamlined process for parents and students. The delayed launch is planned for January 1, 2024. Students will use their 2022 income information on the application. The FHSU Priority deadline is March 1, 2024. Submit your FAFSA early so you do not miss out on limited funded financial aid.

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for federal financial aid. The FHSU School Code is 001915.
Last Date of Attendance or Participation
Under federal regulations, we must confirm students' course participation for courses dropped/withdrawn from after financial aid is disbursed. Please note that dropping/withdrawing from a course could require you to repay, specifically for Pell Grant recipients. For more information about these changes, click here or contact our office.
