Mezzo-Soprano Belinda Paige Jimenez is a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and has performed with the Arizona Opera, the Claremont Symphony, Repertory Opera Company, Celestial Opera Company, The Lyric Opera Theater at Arizona State University, and The Boston University Opera Institute. She has recently sung the roles of Nicklausse in Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte.
Dr. Jimenez has been living in the Los Angeles area since 2016. She owns and teaches at her private music studio in Los Angeles and has been teaching for the past 10 years. She publishes new research in vocal performance and recently published an article in the Voice and Speech Review Journal. She also writes and edits monthly articles for Modern Singer. Her primary research focus is the study of "Performance Adrenaline," which examines the effects of chemical increases while performing.
Dr. Jimenez received her Doctorate in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, her Masters in Opera Performance from Arizona State University, and her Bachelors in Vocal Performance at Boston University.
