Marcia Tacha, administrative associate in the Office of University Relations and Marketing, was elected as University Support Staff Senate president for 2015-2016. Rodney Leiker, environmental safety officer at FHSU was elected vice president.

FHSU will be the host of the University Support Staff Council, which comprise of all six Regents universities, for 2015-2016. Two meetings of the senates will be on the FHSU campus during the year. Also, the presidents of the USS Senates of each university meet via conference call once a month. As the host school, Tacha, on behalf of USSC, will then report to the Council of Presidents monthly and to the Board of Regents twice a year.
