A workshop for academic advisors provided by Fort Hays State University's Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center is set for two different days later this month.
Enrollees can participant in a three-hour session for "Using Technology in Advising," at one of two different times and dates: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 15 in McCartney Hall, Room 104, or 9 a.m. to noon July 24 in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union.
The training will focus on information related to the primary technology applications (TigerTracks, TigerEnroll and TigerCentral: Advising Notes) used in academic advising at FHSU.
Participants who complete the entire workshop will have just one remaining session to attend next fall to receive their Advising Technology Certificate. The fall session is "Using Technology in Advising-Tiger IQ."
Those wanting to attend either of this month's sessions should contact AACE either by phone at (785) 628-5577 or by email at advising@fhsu.edu and identify which session you are interested in attending.
