HAYS, Kan. -- Members of the Zeta Tau Chapter of Sigma Chi, at Fort Hays State University were presented with a 2015 Peterson Significant Chapter Award. Six active members were present to receive the award at the Sigma Chi fraternity's 2015 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop in Bowling Green, Ohio.

This is the eighth time the fraternity has received this award since they arrived on the FHSU campus in 1967.

"This event gave our chapter members an opportunity to collaborate with other Sigma Chi brothers from across the United States and Canada," said Luke Abbott, a Great Bend senior majoring in mathematics.

Attendees received officer training and developed chapter goals for this 2015-2016 school year.
