FHSU’s first fall Science Café set for Sept. 25

HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University’s Science Café for September is set for Monday, Sept. 25.
The monthly presentation, entitled “Eclipses: The How, Why, and Where of these Events,” is sponsored by FHSU’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI), will begin at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Mr. Dean Stramel, adjunct instructor of chemistry in the Werth College of Science, Technology and Mathematics, will talk about the upcoming eclipses over North America. Come and learn all you need to know about the two upcoming solar eclipses and how to safely view them.
