Online Student Scholarships
To receive this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Kansas resident with financial need
- Be admitted to FHSU
Full and part-time students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, may apply.
To qualify for this $500 scholarship, you must:
- Be a new student who has never attended FHSU
- Be a fully online student
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who does not reside in the state of Kansas; Kansas residents may apply for the Kansas Need-Based scholarship here.
- Be degree-seeking
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on cumulative high school or undergraduate coursework
Full- and part-time students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, may apply.

The Dane G. Hansen Tiger Comeback Scholarship is available to both on-campus and online students who started a degree at FHSU and want to complete that degree as either a full or part-time student. Students must be from one of the 26 Kansas counties in the Dane G. Hansen region. Learn more and apply here.
A renewable $750 per year scholarship is automatically awarded to Phi Theta Kappa members who are named to the Kansas All-Academic Team. A renewable $500 per year scholarship is available to Phi Theta Kappa members. Recipients must be new full-time transfer students enrolling fully online. Students who already hold a bachelor's degree, are non-U.S. citizens, or are part-time are not eligible. Request your scholarship here.

FHSU Scholarship Application
The FHSU Scholarship Application opens on September 15 of each year and closes on February 15 of each year.
