AGRI 338: Agricultural Leaders in American Business and Society
A study of concepts and theories of leadership with emphasis on the development of leadership abilities for a variety of agricultural applications. The best practices of successful leaders representing various components of the agriculture community are emphasized. Skills related to managing teams of diverse farm workplaces and communities will be developed.
LDRS 300: Introduction to Leadership Concepts
This course will actively engage students in acquiring information about historical and contemporary theories, concepts, and issues related to leadership. Students will be exposed to the nature of leadership through the presentation of objective material, group activities, and laboratory exercises.
LDRS: 310: Field Work in Leadership Studies
This interdisciplinary course is designed to provide students with an awareness and understanding of current issues related to the nature and tasks of collaborative leadership behavior. The student is asked to identify an issue or challenge and practice leadership by developing and implementing a community project.
