Brooke's general area of interest of research is in the Clinical or applied field. Her current research interests are in reducing stigma of mental illness, and diagnosis and assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In the past, she has researched risky behavior taking in college students, online shopping, body image satisfaction, social anxiety, and brief practices of mindfulness. She describes her mentoring style as compassionate, goal-oriented, and culturally sensitive. She is supportive throughout the research process keeping in mind student’s educational and career goals, but also has high expectations that students working with me are dedicated, work hard, and keep an open mind.Email: bmmann@fhsu.edu
