Virtual Student Senate
What is it?
The Virtual Student Senate is an affiliate of the Student Government Association. This organization meets monthly via webcam. This organization is established to:
(i) To provide effective means of representing students taking course(s) through the FHSU Online.
(ii) To provide a constructive line of communication between students, the FHSU Online, faculty and administration.
(iii) To enhance the educational, social and cultural experience of all virtual students.
(iv) To provide an environment conducive to the education of all Fort Hays State University virtual students.
(v) To Identify, study and seek solutions to issues that jointly affect the FHSU community.
Who is involved?
The VSS is an elected group of solely online students. These students get elected in the fall and represent their college. There are 25 seats each year available. If you are interested in running, there will be information next fall!
