Mandi Brous graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2006 with a M.S. in Counseling. While doing her practicum and internship at FHSU, Mandi worked in the substance abuse field, as well as in the mental health community. She is a certified alcohol and drug counselor. In Aug. 2007 she became a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Mandi currently works for Heartland Regional Alcohol and Drug Assessment Center. She is a substance abuse specialist and does assessments, referrals, care coordination and case management. She is also the coordinator of a program working to treat individuals who have four or more DUI's. She also teaches a community education class in Hays for family members of people who suffer from addiction.
In her spare time Mandi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and camping. She is married and has four children, ages 12, 10, 5 and 2 years old.
