Juli Mettlen
Money Mentor
My name is Juli Mettlen, I am a Sophomore majoring in Business Finance and minoring in Political Science. After graduating here at Fort Hays State I plan to further my education in law school. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time working and with my friends and family. The best financial advice I've heard is "Financial freedom is available to those who learn about it and work for it."
Bradyn Rockers
Money Mentor
My name is Bradyn Rockers. I am a sophomore pursuing a career in Financial Planning/Advising. I am a part of a handful of organizations here at FHSU including the Accounting, Finance, Economics, and International Business Clubs, as well as the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. Outside of school I enjoy golfing, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. The best financial advise I have ever heard is "You need to pay yourself first before purchasing the things you want. Treat your retirement accounts, savings accounts, and other investment accounts as expenses that must be paid every month, like a car or home loan, that way you do not need to worry about financial instability in the future."

I am involved in several campus organizations, including Finance, Accounting, Economics, and International Business clubs, as well as Alpha Kappa Psi and the Knights of Columbus. Outside of academics, I enjoy working out, intramural sports, and staying active in my community. The best financial advice I follow is: “Plan ahead, stay disciplined, and let consistency build your success.”
