Safety First
If you are the victim of any crime, or if you witness a crime, call 911 to reach police assistance, emergency medical treatment or fire response. For non-emergencies, the University Police can be contacted at 785-628-5304 during normal operating hours. After hours, or on weekends, contact the Hays Police Department Dispatch Center, which dispatches for the University Police Department, at 785-625-1011. Additionally, there are eight kiosk phones located throughout campus that connect to dispatch. The University Police Department is located at Custer Hall, in the Center of Public Safety, Room 112, 420 Custer Drive.
