Faculty Writing Mentor

A NEW annual award to recognize faculty with a commitment to student writing. (Remember, self-nominations are accepted, too.) The deadline for nominations closed March 13, 2026.

2026 Faculty Writing Mentor Finalists

Overall, 34 faculty members were nominated for Faculty Writing Mentor. A committee narrowed the list to five finalists: Dr. Lexey Bartlett, English Professor; Dr. Rachel Dolechek, Applied Business Associate Professor; Latisha Haag, Communications Studies Instructor; Hollie Marquess, History Senior Lecturer; and Lorelei Patrick, Biology Assistant Professor. Congratulations to Dr. Bartlett on being chosen the 2026 Faculty Writing Mentor!
