Future Engineers' Day

Fort Hays State University’s Admissions Office along with the Peter Werth College of Science, Technology, and Mathematics will host a Future Engineers' Day at Fort Hays State University, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
The event is open to high school juniors, seniors, and college transfer students interested in careers in Physics and Engineering. This event is free and will include lunch.
Our extensive curriculum places direct emphasis on hands-on learning, the latest technologies, and experiment and research opportunities. Alongside our state-of-the-art facilities, our diverse faculty lead the charge in educating future Engineers, Physicists, and Educators.
Students will:
- Explore engineering pathways: civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, and more!
- Meet current FHSU students, alumni, and faculty.
- Tour academic facilities and research labs.
- Participate in hands-on Engineering projects, demonstrations, and activities.
- Visit with representatives of the Admissions Office to learn more about FHSU.
- Win prizes including tech devices and FHSU swag!
- Drawing for five $1000 Physics Department scholarships!
