College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences Day
The Fort Hays State University Admissions Office and the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Science are excited to bring the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Science Day on campus on Monday, October 27th, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
This event is free and will include a continental breakfast and lunch. It is open to high school & transfer students interested in careers in the arts, humanities, & social sciences.
Students will:
- Participate in fun and engaging activities that introduce students to the arts, humanities, and social sciences
- Learn about academic, career, and other unique educational opportunities with the programs.
- Speak with faculty, staff, and students in each program.
- Have an opportunity to win scholarships.
- Visit with representatives of the Admissions Office to learn more about FHSU.

9:00 – 9:15 am - Check-in
9:15 – 9:20 am - Welcome
9:20 - 9:35 am – Introduction to Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences
9:45 - 12:55 pm - Rotating Program Stations
• 9:45 - 10:25 - Station 1
• 10:35 - 11:15 - Station 2
• 11:25 - 12:05 - Station 3
• 12:15 - 12:55 - Station 4
1:05 – 1:45 pm - Lunch & Scholarship Drawings
2:00 pm - End of day
🅿️ Parking passes are NOT required for the day. Guests may park in any campus parking lot or open space (except handicapped). A bus lane will run southbound on the east side of Sheridan Hall, and buses may park at Gross Memorial Coliseum.📍View our virtual map or download a campus map to help you find your way.
Groups are welcome! To enhance your experience, please have each attendee complete the sign-up form. We ask that everyone selects "0 guests," we kindly request that sponsors designate one student to indicate the number of sponsors or teachers attending with your group.
