Welcome to Fort Hays State University Early College Programs.
Fort Hays State University offers premier residential early college opportunities designed for academically gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. Students in our programs complete their 11th and 12th grade years living on campus in Custer Hall, taking college courses taught by Ph.D. faculty, and conducting hands-on research alongside university professors.
Our Early College Programs encompass two primary pathways depending on your residency.
What Makes Our Shared Experience Unique?
Regardless of which pathway you enter through, KAMS and AMS students are fully integrated into a single community. You will live in the same residence hall, take the same classes, collaborate on research, and join campus organizations together.
