Part-time INF 101 Adjunct Instructor
The Department of Informatics is looking for part-time adjunct instructors to teach online sections of INF 101. Applicants should have a MBA or Graduate Degree in a related discipline.
They should also possess a combination of the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic technology concepts (software, hardware, social media, networks, internet, operating systems, privacy issues, copyright, legal issues, etc.)
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (various versions)
- Ability to develop and schedule lesson plans and assignments
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Capability to communicate extensively electronically (email, Skype, etc.)
- Ability to use LMS (BlackBoard) and course development tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve to assist students with technology problems
- Knowledge of technology resources available to faculty of FHSU
- Task-oriented and ability to meet deadlines (graded work, reports, etc.)
