31 students honored at 2021 KAMS/AMS Completion Ceremony

31 students from the Kanas Academy of Mathematics & Science (KAMS) and the Academy of Mathematics & Science (AMS) were honored at the 2021 KAMS/AMS Completion Ceremony held on the Fort Hays State University (FHSU) campus. These students received a completion certificate from KAMS/AMS and will receive a high school diploma from their sending school. 12 students were unable to attend the in-person ceremony due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some fun facts about the 2021 completing class:
- Together, this class earned approximately $2.8 million in scholarship dollars for the next academic year.
- The average exiting ACT composite of this class was a 32 composite.
- The average exiting SAT score was a 1420.
