Academy senior Gini Weisar (St. Charles, MO) was one of only 10 students chosen out of hundreds of U.S. applicants to complete the National Science Foundation's International Research Experience in Baja, Mexico.
Weisar, along with KAMS/AMS Interim Director Dr. Jeanne Sumrall, traveled to the Baja peninsula over the winter break and conducted geophysics research. Students and staff worked closely with and analyzed the Boleo mine located in Baja.
